Even when company founder Carl Schlösser applied for his first patents for gas fittings over 100 years ago, he was already producing the necessary gaskets himself. Even then, Schlösser was always in search of the ideal solution.
A desire which runs like a continuous thread through the whole history of the company. Today there is hardly any sector in which Schlösser is not represented by a range of highly specialised products. From machines of all types, to cars, ships, aircraft, trains, household and electrical appliances and on to aerospace products – there is today hardly anything which moves, floats, flies or functions without products from Schlösser.
This expertise does not come out of thin air. It is the result of many years of experience, continual innovations, strict customer orientation and stringent quality management, coupled with the Swabian creative spirit. And it is also the result of the conviction not to rest on one's laurels, but always to regard new customer requirements as a challenge and an opportunity.
